A massive Congratulations to our KYL u14s side who successfully overcome a strong Whyteleafe side 3-2 in todays Semi to secure a place in the Kent Youth League Final in March.

With home advantage the Chats exploded into a deserved lead with goals from Danny Moorcroft and Kene Ukatu both racing through and showing great composure in front of goal.

Whyteleafe rallied following the break and were given a lifeline converting a penalty midway through the second half and after further pressure forced an equaliser.

The Chatham boys showed amazing character with a couple of decent chances narrowly missing the bar before Duran Searle found himself unmarked to steer home from 5 yards late on.

A fantastic achievement and we look forward to the Cup Final trip to Glebe.

No strangers to the big occasions Steve Whitton’s side now have a Kent FA Cup Semi to play at Langton Green next Sunday.
